Who is a bigger Threat to India: CHINA or PAKISTAN???

They both have missiles aimed at Indian cities.

They both stand to lose out from India's rising superpower status.

They have both fight wars with India.

They both have an anti-Indian alliance in place.

They both have sponsored terrorism and/or seperatist movements within India.

They both are developing their military and often use India as a justification.

They both use simulations of Indian military in their war games

They both use propaganda in their domestic states to keep the public opinion anti-indian.

so who should India be most wary about the most???

Who is a bigger Threat to India: CHINA or PAKISTAN???
if India were to become a super power, it is to compete with china.china is dumping goods at cheaper rates.the rulers should concentrate how they could manufacture at cheaper rates and increase our exports .in every field, china is becoming not a threat but a competitor .the Indians are to face the challenges thrown by the china and strive hard to make it no 1.Pakistan is not a real threat but it causes nuisance. steps are to be taken to shut the mouth of Pakistan.
Reply:Well India is capable of retaliating in a nuclear war against the both of them.Pakistan does not really have anything to lose (I heard this in a interview between a former Pakistani Admiral and a U.S journalist). The former Admiral said there is no future in Pakistan and that India has a larger future. He also said there was no hope in Pakistan and he would be willing to see his own children die in a nuclear retaliatory strike from India. He also said that India does have a larger arsenal and that Pakistan would be completely inhialated but he said India's dream of becoming a superpower would be lost, and that India has more to lose.

India and China would both not like a war.The Chinese are not as suicidal as the Pakistani government and know that going to war with India would mean both contries would not have the dream of becoming a superpower anymore if they go into a war.India recently tested Agni 3 so major Chinese cities would suffer losses. The Agni 2 would also take major cities in the southern part of China. But this will never happen.Thats because India is China's 8th largest trading partner and will become the 1st by 2010,India and China both commenced naval excercises recently, and there is the fact that both want closer ties because thats the only way they are going to progress. So overall its Pakistan who is a bigger threat since they will be more willing to go to war and have nothing to lose.China has a much stronger military force then Pakistan however but would not see any benifit in going to war.

Right now all I am concerned about are fanatical Pakistani patriots who feel so hopeless with their lives they tend to find insulting Hindus the only way to satisfy their pathetic existence. But ofcourse if Hindusim were to really be explained to them their brain capacity cannnot really comprehend. So let them live in their pathetic existence.I am reffering to the guy who made the comment about Hindus.I doubt an American would do that as they are more tolernant.
Reply:None is threat to India now.
Reply:Economically - China.

Politically - Pakistan.
Reply:China
Reply:Our corrupt politicians....
Reply:I'll venture that overpopulation is a bigger threat than any external factor.
Reply:neither china nor pakistan is threat to india. attrocities on daliths, corruption, communal politics are real threats, faced by india.
Reply:China...because no one else could stop them, except for another superpower like the United States:)
Reply:Pakistans interest is survival (and of course survival of its military elite). If India should threaten this survival then Pakistan is a greater danger to India than China.

Chinas interest is great power status, a vast regional hegemony and industrial advancement. In all of these goals they are concurring with India but their is no likely military solution that could help China to better its position vis-à-vis India. The danger from China is not a military one but a danger of loosing ground in the race for economic development.
Reply:Economically: China

Militarily: Pakistan.

But, India has great advantages over these two: Democracy and relatively 'free' markets.
Reply:Pakistan! For one reason only, because we do way to much business with china and they want to stay employed!
Reply:afcourse china ,barking dogs seldom bites, pakistan was made by colonial rulers policy of devide and rule, pakistanis origin is india they were indians and hindus converted to islam by the moghuls %26amp;caste system prevalent then as untouchablles, continous war is being waged in 143 country borders just as india pakistan, for arms business of USA,germany,Uk, france,to flourish, the world needs to understand sinister designs behind all this.
Reply:when you have two countries breathing down your neck in this way, i say you would probably do well to be equally wary of both!
Reply:Everytime Bush or his administration makes a stupid blunder by threatening or insulting an oil or natural resource nation, China goes in and throws a lot of money into the country and makes deals . They've done it in Iran, Argentina, and central American nations. Right now the Chinese government is extremely clever in combating the US fascists by using diplomacy and money (money we dispatched there through greedy corporations) - China is swimming in US dough.

So what did Bush do about it? He insulted the Chinese by having them for lunch instead of dinner, which is a diplomatic blunder. What did the Prime Minister do afterwards? He flew directly to another US/insulted nation and make another deal.

So China is the biggest threat because they are smarter than this current US Administration which has done so much damage, the only way to dig our way out is to get rid of the "Bushies" fast.
Reply:India
Reply:Biggest threat now is within us. We have not learnt lessons from our very recent history. Evil is evil. Evil can not be bigger or smaller.

recent History reveals that both China and Pakistan had clash of intrests with us. policy of china is to expand their territories by hook or crook. They merged tibet which was part of British india. Thereafter they started claiming lands in ladhakh Asaam and so on without any concrete evidence. Creation of pakistan was based on hatred against hindus.

Now our biggest enemies are pseudo seculars. They must be thrown to Pakistan, so as to take a taste of muslim seculars of pakistan. Aleast they must have a taste of muslim nation for a few years.

As far as India is concerned this is Hindu nation with no place for pseudo seculars

So I feel enemies are within us 'the hindus" had we not devided . No body would have dared to attack our rich inheritance.

We must stand united to fight out side evil forces. Investment in peace shall reap benifits in futur
Reply:I think both china 'n' pakistan r treat to india.

anyways if their propaganda is anti-indian, the main reason behind that is b'cos indians have ppl like u...............................!!!!!!!!...
Reply:The worst enemy of India are the Indians who sap the will to resist aggression with endless prattle about keeping lines of

communication open, giving away territory earned in blood

spilled by military service, and rank cowardice when drums

signal an advance. Indians claim to know their enemy but do they also fear their friends in India enough?
Reply:There is no threat from either countries. There is only mutual distrust. All are strong.
Reply:both are threats, but nobody can stop india.
Reply:Both of them are a threat to India. The main is China, Pakistan is China's slave, they always use them (China) against India.
Reply:theres only a threat when u perceive it that is all the time its human and animal nature
Reply:China is so huge it is virtually impossible to respond to an attack in a meaningful way. But China is more concerned with economic growth at the moment, and is more apt to be involved in subtler and longer term destabilizing actions.

Pakistan is more apt to be directly involved in violence and direct military attack.

I'd worry about Pakistan in the short term, and be very concerned about China in the long term.

Of course,if I were the US, I'd be really concerned about China too. We fail to appreciate their size - there are more students in China in the top 10% of studies than there are students in all of the US.
Reply:In my point of view Pakistan is a bigger treat to India.

In every aspect either in missiles aims at Indian cities or in case of migration, large amount of Pakistani migrated to India everyday and stay here as refugee which is a big blow to Indian economic.
Reply:The biggest threat to INDIA is...INDIA. I've been working with the Indian Navy here in Virginia, and that is why I've formed that opinion.

They just bought the USS TRENTON LPD-14 (now named the INS JALASHWA...or JALASHVA...depeding on who's spelling it).
Reply:CHINA
Reply:pakistan is just like pat dog of america ,but china is real threat their communists ideology agaist india . if war in future with any country with india will be china , they are eager to broader their size .
Reply:It is a stupid question. You are known to create ghost from no where. If you cared so much for India you would not be sitting in London and asking these silly and inflammatory questions. Why don't you come to India and work for its upliftment. I know the lure of pound is bigger than the love of the country.

Hypocrisy, thy name is Hans Laxman Raj.
Reply:The real threat is from China. Some leaders in the past have unwittingly blurted out this perception which is held in the inner circle. All the improvement that is sought by India in its military Establishment is only to counter the possible attack from China and the combined might of China and Pakistan. China finds an easy ally in Pakistan to contain India, which eyed with suspicion by China.
Reply:dey shud not wary bout nuthin 'cept chillin at da crib wit dey homies, yo. nah mean? its all gud, playa.
