Is gas high in China and India?

They say that the rising oil consumption in these countries is having a lot of impact on gas prices, but I want to know if they are paying the same high prices we are. I doubt that they are because of the average income in those countries is so low.

Is gas high in China and India?
Good point, I would like to add that China, and the economic growth they are having, is causing China to consume more energy and gas. Chinas economic expansion is a big reason for increased demand and rising gas and energy prices.
Reply:I don't know about India. But in China, the average gas price is almost always higher than in the states. That's way the percentage of people who owns a car is much lower in China than in the states. Think about it, there are many families in the states own more than one car. But in China, most people don't even have a drive licenses. Usually the big consumption of automobile and high growth rate of automobile sales due to the super large population gives people wrong impression. The small super compact sedans are very popular in China. Those cars consume much less gas than average sedans in the states.
Reply:made in china
Reply:With all the vegetables and spices they eat, I bet it's REAL high.
