They were acquired thru the death of a family member . they have a crest on the back and Rose pattern on front
Can anyone tell me a site to go to see if the china dishes I have is rare?
you could always type in the maker of the dishes to a search engine and pull up that site and see how common they are.
Reply:I find that ebay can often be helpful. If someone owns the same pattern or a piece by the same maker, you can see what their pieces sell for, and often a seller will give a brief history of the object in its description. replacements.com is also an excellent site to search.
Reply:I found this website, extremely helpful in finding replacement china I inherited.

Reply:You're better off taking them to several repected antiques dealers. You would be able to gather much more helpful information about them like this, instead of looking on the 'net for info.
Reply:forget a website. hit up the antique roadshow the next time they're in town!
