USA so unpopular...?

Bush made the mistake of invading iraq for oil. People now think that America is the worst country. but russia and china are rising up to power economically. They both have potentials to become superpowers. I wouldn't imagine myself under chinese and russina influence. I always liked the american way of life and its influence. Can't USA do sth to remain powerful but also become a little bit more isolationist?

It's interesting that you only thought you needed to use capital letters for America and U.S.A but,three other countries didn't merit that.Could it be that it is the usual American arrogance that makes the rest of the world hate America.


Fiona,you have just said something else that make people angry with your country by saying "We saved the people from Hitler" again you disregard the rest of the WW11 allies who were fighting that war before your country decided to join,which was only after Pearl Harbour.Australia,Canada,India as it was at that time,New Zealand and many African countries as well as Russia and China.Next time think about what you are saying,people may just start to respect your country a little more.
Reply:Most countries feel intimidated by America. Most people misunderstand the Americans. I love America. I don't llike it's politics, especially now. If it's not Bush it will be someone else. When a man/womand steps up to the top, the power and greed drive them crazy. They lie to us and we accept it like the fools we are becuase we can't face the truth. China has always been a superpower they just don't flaunt it like we do.





Most wars are for taking something that doesn't belong to us. We are still living in the past glory of WWII where we saved people from Hitler. Those days are long gone...the way of life has changed. We are now living in denial. It started with Vietnam and I don't see it getting any better.
