In China does the sunset in the east?

Just wondering, hope it does not sound too dumb, in other words does the sun alway rise and set the same all over olur globe?

In China does the sunset in the east?
The sun works the same in china as it does here. Rises in the east, sets in the west. That's why Japan is known as the Land of the Rising Sun - because it's the easternmost region of asia (with any significant population, anyway), so the sun rises there before it gets anywhere else.
Reply:no it rises there.
Reply:The sun rises in the East no matter where you are on the globe. The sun rises and sets because the Earth spins on its axis and that won't change no matter where you are geographically.
Reply:Yes it does.
Reply:The sun always appears to set in the west, due to the turning of the earth on its axis.
Reply:same thing as the west and every where , rise from the east %26amp;sets in the west ,i think ?!!
Reply:No. I saw that. It sets in the north west in china.
Reply:yaa it sets there only stupid
Reply:yes it does the sun sets the same way no matter what country your in....
Reply:Yes, but in China people are all force to work as slaves in underground bunkers so only very few of them can see the sun in their life.
Reply:OMG!!! i cant beleive this is even a question in debate here...the earth turns the same direction everywhere...therefore, the sun sets in the west...just like here.
Reply:the sun always sets in the west and rises in the east.
