i think india and china have more people than america and europe.....so if their demand of oil rises how will that hurt us, cause i think it will
How will chinas and indias rising demand for oil hurt america and europe?
It's simple economics - their rising demand will push up the price of oil for all of us. This will be less of a problem for them, because their societies haven't become used to the ridiculous overconsumption of oil as we North Americans have.
The consequence will be that we will never again be able to afford gas to the extent that we could in the twentieth century.
But don't worry - alternative technologies are on the way. The hybrid car is a good start because it allows your car to take you much further on a tank of gas.
