Does China´s rising power bother you ?

If you are then you will forgo purchasing Chinese products. You can´t really influence Russia because they have the energy resources and they realize that they have the hole card but the story is different with the Chinese, they need us and the rest of the civilized world in order to keep their society appeased with jobs and the prospect of prosperity. They are empty shells without us!

You can help by avoiding shopping at any large chain that sells their products which means that you should just stop shopping! This will put the us and the rest of the world intoa recession (depression?) but will also stop the future menace of a world dominated by an avowed communist state!

Every Walmart purchase just enriches this repressive country whose leaders know what is right for each of it´s citizens.

I am not anti-Chinese, just anti-Chinese government. I am for defending all that believe that the people ultimately make the decisions not those that appoint themselves as decision

Does China´s rising power bother you ?
So... you're just telling us you don't shop anywhere? Where did your computer come from?
Reply:Man, let someone answer the question before you give us a lecture. Your arguement that they are a shell but is a rising power is a conflict.
Reply:America needs to be knocked down a peg or four. Japan dismantled the US technology and auto manufacturing plants in the 70s and 80s, and hundreds of thousands of top paying jobs disappeared. In the 10s and 20s, China and India will take over what's left of the US manufacturing industry, and most of the high-tech industries as well. The US needs to live as a pauper for a while. God willing.
Reply:That's a good idea in theory, but where will we get the goods we need then? America does not manufacture enough currently to support the demand, nor will we spend money to meet the ever-growing demand in the future. Trade is necessary. Furthermore, a recession would crash our economy, as consumer spending is 70% of our GDP. Without consumer spending, our economy, along with other power, will be in bad shape.
