Do you know that America is a dying power , but Russia & China are the rising powers?

Estimate are by the year 2020 -2025, Russia %26amp; China are the only Super powers %26amp; America is just a local power %26amp; the biggest exporter of immigrants looking for jobs %26amp; better life. Many well respected Politicians %26amp; Economists said that, like Ralef Nader .

Do you know that America is a dying power , but Russia %26amp; China are the rising powers?
Yes, every EMPIRE must fall ! History always right. The Roman, empire, the Otman empire, the British empire, the Greek, the Natzy, ..etc. Their down fall is usually their ego gets the best of them %26amp; start to make mistakes %26amp; disrespect other nations. Right is Might %26amp; not Might is Right !
Reply:I am so happy to hear of your upcoming emigration! With the changes, there will be fewer jobs for the poorly educated. Report It

Reply:I'm sorry to hear sb calling China third world country, however it's the name you yank made for us, we never said we are, I'm glad you could look back in the history, but if you can just look a little further, China was very powerful, and yeah, it's history, today will be history, too. Report It

Reply:Both China and Russia have have times in history in which they had more power then they have now. I would say they are on the rise, but it is hard to "estimate". If you use current trends to estimate, by the year 2020-2025, Utah will have like 300 million people in it. Obviously things like economic growth and and power don't rise and fall at a steady trend for years and years. They fluctuate.
Reply:I dont agree with any of this at all. The world economic powers will be

1. USA 2. European Union 3. China,4. India,5. Brazil,6. Russia.

The USA will not decline in strength, all the best scientific and technological brains are there and continue to flock there from other countries, all these hugely populated countries depend on each other and will contine to do so in the future. Chindias(China/India) current growth is in the hands of a small minority of well educated people, that is not the basis for becoming a dominant power in the period being discussed here. A mere 14 years really.
Reply:Russia's birth rate is declining and they'll be lucky to be an also ran in 50 years. I agree that China is an up and comer...but if America gets its act together, there's no reason to believe we'll decline.
Reply:Then why aren't Mexicans killing themselves to go there?
Reply:Lemme guess, you are taking Intro to International Relations, and your all-knowing, all-powerful professor spit this stuff at you as TRUTH. News for ya, kiddo. As long as foreign countries continue to cater to and model themselves after the US economy, the US will continue to be a superpower. This is only one of about 20 theories that have been floating around for the last 15 years. And when I was a PoliSci student in the mid-90's, they were saying the same thing about China and India. That they would replace the US by 2010, and that India and Pakistan would have blown each other up by now...
Reply:North America and Europe are dying because the West is the first culture to hate itself.

America won't be exporting immigrants - it will be weighed down by immigrants which will paralyze its foreign policy.

Ralph Nader is not an economist, he's a politician.
Reply:Ralph is a clown, so when will the commies stooges (dems) put the rest of us in re-education camps?
Reply:I dont know what you read about Russia. They are useless now and dying. Much of their country has been broken apart the last 20 years.

China is a power to be reckoned with of course. Although quietly the number of people in that country could hinder them in the long run

USA is still and will be a power. Lets not forget that.
Reply:hahhaha yea ok

I'd love to see where you go this piece of supposed knowledge from.
Reply:NO!!! The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is NOT a dying

power and Russia is a JOKE and China is CORRUPT!!!!

Ralph Nader is brain-dead!!!!!
Reply:You keep posting questions (comments) without giving your sources. Back up what you say and perhaps you would be a bit more believable!
Reply:No I did not know that.

I bet you woke up soon after this revelation and realized you were just dreaming. Surely, this is wishful thinking on your part.

Maybe Russia and China should sign the Kyoto Treaty, you think? Especially since they are the worst polluters in the world.
Reply:Hello !!! Russia has crumbled before the almighty U.S. China , well they cannot even produce enough food to support the what is it now 5 billion chinese . Me thinks you should have another drink !!
Reply:Most people consider Russia to no longer be a super power and China to be becoming one. Most consider the US to be the only true superpower right now.

I agree that China and possibly India (less likely Russia) may well eclipse us, however.

But what is your point?

Oh, Ralph Nader (respected is debatable). When did he write that, when there was still the USSR? Because things were different then.

Powers rise and wane. Such is life.

Did you mean to put this in a different category?
Reply:To become a real superpower you need t, economic growt that benefits everybody in a certain country that isn't happening yet in China , look at rural china , their cities may look like they have a florishing economy but they have bigger problems than the USA in matters of society and healtcare for example . there are thousands of homeless children mostly girls the contrast is more obvious than in america and the wages are crap , they are literally working for peanuts .

You also need to develop your own tecnology currently they are just using piracy. Now Russian on the other hand looks better but it has a long way to go. Now the USA is falling behind yes , but take into account that they currently have one of the worst if not hte worst goverment in their history and have been hit by many things . Wait till Al Gore or another good president get's a chance and then will se if america can again rise to expectations .
Reply:Well, if you hate america, please feel free to stay the hell out! LOL
Reply:Are you posting this question under immigration in hopes that the illegals will read this and leave for China and Russia? Good idea.
Reply:Actually: the rising powers are China and india. China in 20 more years is gonna be a de facto capitalist power with life levels in some cities superior to many European countries, for instance. The problem with both of them is that they have a lot of people, and it's difficult to provid housing and schooling and feeding for them all, this is whta had slowed down china before, but China is scky rocketting. While the US, well, the US has become a post-industrial society specialized in leisure and consumption in the citizen level, while on the macro level they are even more and more neglectful of their international relationships and engendering more and more enemies as they go, I foresee that the US in 50 years will have an equal or in some areas more porweful opponent in China. Although Nadder is not a good source to bring, still it bears some truth. And Russia, well, i am gonna be honest, Russia traditionally has many problems to solve before it can catch up with China, but it can still definitely oppose the US, which is something everybody tries to ignore.
Reply:Known it for years.

But Russia isn't much of a threat (or motivation, depending on how you look at it) to current ways of doing business. Although the ways of doing business that most Americans I know believe to be The Way, are already long outdated.

China and India, though, are going to change not only *how* America does business, but what business it does. If America doesn't adapt to this shrinking globe . . . well, I have no doubt that she will.

But if we don't get more people educated in math and the sciences--because America's greatest strength is now and always has been, innovation--we *will* be a dying power. I'm not the least bit worried, but look forward period of amazing growth and learning in America.

Check out "The World is Flat" by Thomas L. Friedman. It will really amaze you if you just realized how the world is changing. I also recommend watching "The Charlie Rose" show now and again, on PBS. You will hear the opinions of some of the most powerful people in the world, some of the greatest thinkers, a few real wackos and the occasional celebrity.

And frankly, I don't put much creedence in Ralph Nader's opinions.

.
Reply:yeah i know i agree with you
Reply:YOU REALLY NEED TO GET OVER YOU'RSELF. ALWAY'S A HATER OUT THERE. AMERICA IS TO POWERFUL FOR SOME PISSY COUNTRY TO TAKE IT OVER. IF YOU DISLIKE AMERICAN'S SO MUCH GO BACK FROM WHERE YOU CAME FROM. ILLEGAL.
Reply:funny, i thought russias economy was in the gutter. and those studies never amount to anything. americans vote for who they want as leaders and will elect people who dont export jobs. ralf nader isnt well respected by the way.
Reply:How does one come to this conclusion. When China's economy depends on ours. And was virtually a third word country until Bill Clinton allowed all of our text tile and manufacturing jobs to go there. An Russia is all but a forgotten land if not for its nukes . It depends on foreign aid from other countries to hold its doors open.Although every imp ire an super power comes to a end,it will take something very drastic for these two countries too reach our standard.
Reply:Ralph Nader is kind of chancy to be quoting. While it's true that China is definately emerging into a true world power Russia seems kind of iffy. The US is definately losing credibilty in the world. A superpower is not made by military might alone.
Reply:Should I be more scared of this or nuclear holocaust? Or the icecaps melting? Or Japan not trading with the US anymore?

I am not trying to be sarcastic, but people like to worry. It is in our nature, and that's why we are given hundreds of things to worry about each and every day. There are so many problems in this world, and America NOT being a superpower any longer is one of the ones lower on the list of importance. Great Britain and England used to be the superpowers, but explorer Christopher Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci (earlier than Columbus, and he is the reason we don the names "North and South AMERICA") founded this continent on the premise that we would be able to live over here, pay less taxes, and not have to worry about the Kings and Queens of the era over in Europe. It worked out for thousands of years, and now it's a crisis that we won't be a superpower anymore, and eventually we won't be. It is a cycle, that's how it's going to work for millions of years to come - if we last that long.
Reply:i have been reading your questions and answers and i must say, please stop asking and answering questions, you are so stupid you give blonde's a very bad name. i think my tree outside has more brain cells than you. do you actually hear yourself? or do you just faze in and out while speaking?
Reply:RALPH Nader is a lunatic, who lost his credibility at least 2 elections ago.

Besides "well-respected" and "politician" should never be in the same sentence.
Reply:you just made that up
Reply:This country is too focused on greed, that will be its demise....Eventually the same will happen to China....Everything happens in cycles...
