You are not going to have a "recession", or "depression", you are going to go through a period of "re-adjustment", and with some luck, some form of sensible government spending.


You might not realize that your military "efforts" are costing 700 BILLION a year, money better spent on "foolish" things like universal health care, or education.


Sooner, or later, you folks will wake up to these simple facts, and take your country back.

China will never rise to power, they don't have natural resources.





They have to import natural resources, just like Japan does.





And thats why japan never became a world power, even in the 80's, when the Japanese ecomony was rockin.





When you have to depend on others, for the basic minerals your country needs to survive, any interuption, has serious consiquences.





As to Bush and war, Bush wasn't the President who attacked/invaded six countries on four separate continents, without congressional or UN approval.

Reply:People have been saying we're on the brink of a recession for about fifteen years and we haven't yet reached that point. This conspiracy theory about China and a depression surely is new though.

If there is a war, Its probably about oil and other natural resources. Theres nothing we can do about that unless we switch to alternatives before all the oil runs out. Russia is pretty resource rich...
