So If the 2 rising powers: India and China came together thn wouldnt the US be in trouble?

lets just hope that doesnt happen

What do you ppl think? Is there even a small chance that they WOULD come togehter? im doubting it. You guys?

So If the 2 rising powers: India and China came together thn wouldnt the US be in trouble?
The US is already in trouble.

You know how they say 'we are always fighting the last war'. We are prepared for an all-out invasion and military struggle. But that's not what's happening in the world today. We went into Iraq expecting a 'conventional' war like WWII, but we lost, even though we had unquestionably superior weapons and firepower.

India and China, together or separately, can't hope to invade us and take us over, if that's what you're thinking. But they have economic power over us--we have GIVEN them this power--and they can destroy us. In fact all China has to do is to decide not to lend us any more money and our entire economy will collapse.

GW Bush has sold more than a trillion dollars worth of the US's future to China. Our manufacturing capacity in the US has shriveled away through lack of use. We don't even have people in the US with manufacturing skills anymore. If the Republicans win in 2008 (or steal the election again as they have twice already) the US could well become the pariah nation of the world. India and China don't represent nearly the threat to us as we do ourselves. The Soviet Union collapsed under its own weight, and we are about to follow them.
Reply:We are in trouble.
Reply:India and China would shrivel up without the US economy, and they know it.
Reply:India does not want trouble. The majority of Indians are quite spiritual, respectful people.

China? Who knows. They have been here for five thousand years, you know, and actually have a PLAN. Unlike the Americans, whose "plan" only extends four years into the future.

You know, for elections?
Reply:I have to wonder why certain people like to come up with America loses scenarios. Yet they swear they don't hate America and that we really should vote for their party for President.
Reply:india and the us are very good freinds... China has to much money tied up in the us to ever fight us. they own about half of wallstreet, and manufacture everything we own giving them jobs,,,,it wouldnt hapen in your lifetime... You may see mexico, us and canada all become one country soon, but india is no threat...
Reply:No.

Since the advent of the nuclear bomb, size really doesn't matter.

Other countries are mostly trying to prosper and build relationships. I ponder how many people in China are wondering if the US intends to strike them. I doubt it.
Reply:lol, no then China and India would be in trouble. The US could probably walk in and set up a new country before anyone noticed due to all the confusion.
Reply:Not the least. The USA is not so weak that the combination of China and India can threaten its military supremacy.
Reply:It's not going to happen. India is a democracy, China is an authoritarian regime. India and China have a noted border dispute that's been festering for years and went to war more than 30 years ago over it. The only thing the two nations have in common is that they inhabit the same general area of the earth, they couldn't me more far apart and many Indians consider China an enemy and vice versa.
Reply:Well no not exactly because they may be powerful but we have the french and many others on our side therefore making us stronger.

we did this knowing that something like this might happen.

so we made a treaty with countries so if they get attacked then we are there for them and if we get attacked they are there for us.

but someday this sort of thing just might happen as a result of the economy's falling.
